We are moving in to our new condominium unit and everyone is so excited on checking out the place. What I loved most about it is the taste they have with furnitures and ofcourse the pergo flooring is awesome. It was a nice pick by the architect and well thought design for the interior is a kill. The reason why I picked the place is because it is in the middle of the metro. Near my workplace and the university for my college daughter. I am excited about the new environment as well.
We were hanging out in my cousin’s bed room one afternoon when I saw something unique to my eyes. It was placed on his bed side table. I got curious so I asked him what it was. He said it is a whistler radar that he bought just weeks ago.
I didn’t have any idea what it is for so he filled me in the details. It is a device used to detect police traps or something like that. I didn’t fully understand what he meant but anyways I just let it be there.
It is time to do some cleaning for a my house. My friends would be arriving later tonight to have some get together and party all night long. I have been inviting them eversince but this is the only time that their schedules are not tight so I grabbed the opportunity and invited them over once more. I started cleaning the basement and put in some basement moisture to remove those bad smells from my 4 years old dog. It would also help filter up some dust and dirt from my dog’s falling hair. A little baking at the kitchen for some old time favorite pasta dishes and it is all set for a party tonight.
It is such a busy day for me. I got to do a lot of home cleaning and car repair because my dad would be arriving tonight from the south. I need to power up some engine for his 1985 honda 70cc three wheeler. Some vintage collection my dad inherit from my grandfather. Still can hit the road pretty good and just needs to have some polishing and spare parts change. I did some shopping at the car shop down the road for some kohler parts that I just got for cheap pricing because my dad’s friend owns one. My dad would be astonished at what he would see later tonight. We will probably stoll down the road to see how kohler works perfectly for a vintage modeled car.
I’m helping out my cousin in moving out to their new house. She just got married by the way and they are now starting to build their new abode. I didn’t give her much help when it comes to building and painting because that is not my thing. I don’t know anything about how to screw the door knob or the industrial bearings to use on each part of the house. But when it comes to decorating and designing, I think I will be of very big help to them. Well I wouldn’t be an Interior Design graduate if I can’t contribute on this.
My cousin is my first client being a newbie Interior Designer – a full-pledged Interior Designer for that matter. This is not the first time actually that I helped design and decorate a house. During my school years, I have been exposed to different events and competitions requiring our skills in Interior Design. And I must say, the results are quite good because we win on some occasions.
One of the best brands I had ever trusted is the Samsung. And why not? The unique styles and quality of it would really make it stand above the rest of its competitor. Whenever I am being asked by friends what brand would they choose for their household needs, I would always say “go for samsung”.
It is not that I am being bias or something, but I truly believe I would never go wrong with recommending the brand. It has been in the industry for quite a long time now and it is still serving a lot of happy costumers continuously.
I just love our new garden. Well, my dad being an architect and my brother being an aspiring architect, our lawn would really look fabulous. My dad with the help of my brother designed the look of our garden. Me and my mom helped in decorating. I love my dad’s idea of the landscape lighting, it gives the look of elegance in our garden.
Tomorrow, I will be inviting over my friends to our place. I will boast our garden’s new look. I am so proud I helped in beautifying it.
My daughter has been complaining to me about our sofa in the living room. It’s already sixteen years old (the sofa), and it definitely needs replacement. My daughter said that she hesitates to invite her friends over to our house because of our old and somehow rotten sala set. As a single working mom, I haven’t got the time to improve the look of our house. But since my daughter took notice of it, well it’s time that I should take a look in my own house and see what improvement it needs.
Starting off with our sofa set. My daughter suggested a store that is owned by her classmates’ uncle. Her classmate said that she already talked to her uncle and will personally assist us in choosing a good and cozy sofa at a discounted price. Well now, renovating our living room is done. Next on the list is the dining set, but I have to work overtime because I realized that almost all the areas in my house needs improvement.
Just recently, my aunt renovated her house specifically her doors and windows. A friend advised her to install more windows in her house to save energy and to imbibe brightness on her abode. I helped my aunt canvass for materials to be used in making the windows. We also scanned home improvement magazines to have an idea of what her windows and doors would look like.
She also plans to repaint her house after the doors and windows are done. She wants a brighter color to replace the previous light blue paint. I was kinda surprised when she chose light blue as the house’s major color because it was so dull. It is an opposite of her personality – she being a jolly and active person.
My mom plans to build kitchen cabinets in our kitchen to save space. More and more appliances are added and installed into our kitchen so we will be needing more space for them. We didn’t hire someone to do the job so we are all contributing into building those kitchen cabinets. I, my mom and my sister will go to the hardware and kitchen appliance stores to gather ideas on how our kitchen cabinets would look like. My dad and my brother will do the working. Us girls of course, will support them while doing the cabinets. 
The whole afternoon of Saturday and the morning of Sunday was spent by our family in doing the cabinets. Just a few finishing touches and painting, and the cabinets are good to go. But then tomorrow is the start of work week, so the kitchen cabinets will be finished by next week.
