I was walking my way home yesterday when I bumped into an old friend from college. We haven’t seen each other for quite a long time so we took that time to catch up over a cup of tea. I learned that she is a tour guide now and she is offering me a Branson Missouri vacation packages in time for the summer. The package is very reasonable but I told her that I’m still not sure if I’m going to grab it because I can’t just decide easily for my schedule with the kind of work that I have.
We spent the time talking for like two hours and after that we exchanged our new numbers and promised to keep in touch with each other.

It has been awhile since we have done this slumber party. I miss my girl friends. We had been busy with our own lives after we graduated from college and started working. This day should be ours to spend. We all blocked our schedules to meet with each other again and reminisce the good old times.
I say nothing has changed. The bond is still there. Mia is still the same geek who seems to know almost everything. Andi is still the same clumsy girl who seems to meet every accident with her every move. Why with just opening a kitchen faucet and there she cut her hand with a blade placed beside the sink. Marinel is still the same goddess that she is. She is just so gorgeous. Well next to mine.

I can’t wait to see all the digital trail cameras that we used during our vacation last week. We had tons of captured photos of everything we did on that vacation. It was really a blast, being with my friends, enjoying our time and just relaxing after a year of stressful work.
This vacation is a sort of like a reunion and year end party as well for our friendship that is almost ten years now. I so miss them and it seems that nothing has changed. They are still the same people that I loved and still love ten years ago. I wish we can do this more often.

I will never ever forget my birthday this year. You know why, because my boyfriend really surprised me by giving me that Disney vacations that I have been longing for. I have been saving money to avail of that vacation and I never knew that my boyfriend will give it to me on my birthday. He is really the sweetest and very thoughtful, and very generous.
The vacation will last for two weeks, so I already filed my leave in the office. My friends envy me that I’m going to this vacation and they wished that they could come with me, but they would have to save a lot to afford it. I’m so excited, I will definitely make sure that that two-week vacation will be memorable.

I just love shopping. This is my most favorite hobby. And shopping with my girl friends is a lot more enjoyable. Today, we are all going to swipe our credit cards to our hearts desire. Our first stop is a clothing store, I will just not mention the brand. Luckily, that store is on sale by up to 70% off. I grabbed two bags, a blouse and a dress. When we got into the counter to pay for the items, the barcode scanner wasn’t working and as well as their credit card reader or whatever name it is called. We have no choice but to pay it in cash.
That was just one of the stores we visited, the others we were able to use our credit cards. We finished shopping at around 11pm, that was so tiring but we didn’t mind because we love what we are doing.

I’m so excited for our 3-day out of town trip tomorrow with my friends. This trip has long been planned that’s why we got a lot of time to prepare for it and save more money. My friend Angel is sleeping over with me tonight and we’re both packing our things when I noticed her bag of toiletries. It was so big, so I asked her what are the things that’s in it. It was too big for just a 3-day vacation.
I told her that we should bring only the things that we need, no unnecessary stuff. Her bag contained a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, feminine wash, acne body wash, facial wash, facial cream, and hand and body lotion. All of them were contained in a bottle. So we went to a nearby convenience store and helped Angel buy the toiletries in sachet to conserve space on her travelling bag.

The warm breeze and the fresh air, the smell of plants and trees and the whooshing sound of the water. Oh it’s so relaxing. Indeed it is the perfect place to unwind. I so love my best friend for inviting me to their ranch/farm. I deserve a break, away from the busy streets and the high-rise buildings in the city.
I woke up early today because I was so excited to go horseback riding to stroll around the ranch. It’s time to put on my riding boots and showcase my riding skills. This shall be my eighth time to horseback ride so this shall be an easy thing for me.
I’m starting to love the farm life. I don’t want to go back to the city but of course it wouldn’t be possible because I have a job to deal with.

It’s Monday and I have no work because I’m still on vacation until Friday. I went to the mall with my cousin that day to relax and go shopping. We chose to go on a Monday because we know that only few people will go to the mall. But to our surprise, the mall was so crowded particularly in this store. We got curious what the fuss was about and found out that the store is giving out promotional products. We joined the bandwagon and we were given their products as well.
That was just the first half of our mall tour, after that we went to our favorite clothing store and swiped our credit cards to purchase the items that we so like. I’ll just deal with my credit card bills later when I receive my statement of account from the bank. Anyways, it’s been a long time since I went shopping. So doing it now is just a reward for myself.
After shopping, we got hungry so we ate at our favorite restaurant. We ordered our all-time favorite pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Before we went home, we stopped by our favorite coffee shop and ordered frappuccino to go.
I so love this day – bonding with my girl friend.

Seats in the upper box section won’t stop us from cheering for our favorite basketball team. We brought binoculars instead to have a clear view of our favorite players.
Since we started working, me and my friends never got the time to meet up because we got so busy with our jobs. So now our work schedule permits us to catch up with each other and we decided to do what we missed doing, and that’s watching our favorite sports which is basketball and scream our hearts out. After this, we will eat out and share stories until the break of dawn.

I am on vacation and I’m loving it. It’s a good way to leave stress temporarily. I feel so relaxed. I had a full body spa and massage. Lunch and dinner were served on my hotel room. I spent a lot of time in the bath tub with bubble bath and I slept on pine beds. The feeling is so invigorating.
But this relaxing feeling has to come to an end. Because in the next two days I will be back to work again, back to the stressful days.
